The Machines de l'Île gallery
An extraordinary, original, unusual and unique place, this is one of the most iconic places in the city. Inspired by the world of Jules Verne, and located just a stone's throw from the residence, this whimsical and eccentric place will arouse curiosity and will undoubtedly please your children !
The Castle of the Dukes of Brittany
The Château des Ducs de Bretagne is the most visited place in the Pays de la Loire. The visit of the place is free and made easy with children thanks to the projection of films and multimedia creations. This is also the case for the Nantes History Museum with its interactive terminals. The whole family can discover Nantes in a fun way, from the Middle Ages to the present day.
Cruise on the Erdre
You don't need to have sea legs to sail on the Erdre.
With the "Erdre and its castles" cruise, embark on an excursion between town and country to discover the castles and other "Folies" of Nantes (country houses of the Nantes bourgeoisie). Nature is not to be outdone, fauna and flora, natural treasures and wild landscapes will be revealed as you sail along.
The Jardin des Plantes
Just a stone's throw from the station, the Jardin des Plantes is made up of 50,000 flowers planted each season and brings together over 10,000 living species. An artistic place, admire the mosaiculture in the 7000 hectares of this garden.
Cycle paths
Nantes is also a city where cycling is very important! The city makes it easy for cyclists to get around, so if you want to visit the city while getting some exercise, take a ride on the 18km of cycle paths that run alongside the green line.
Trentemoult
Situated on the banks of the Loire, Trentemoult is an old fishing village known for its colourful two-storey houses with red-tiled roofs and its gardens with many palm trees. Traditional bistros, crêperies and cafés line the lively quay... A perfect cocktail for a family holiday !

On the Ile de Nantes, a few minutes away from our residence, the Guinguette du Belvédère invites you to come and have a drink on the banks of the Loire, admire the view, have a snack while listening to music, have fun with the children, take selfies with the silure (the mascot), sit on buoys or just enjoy the sunset...
